YAYA is a Dutch lifestyle brand that was created in 1992. We create comfortable and feminine collections, which are easy to style and to love for many seasons. We’re known for our designs in soft fabrics and toned-down colours. It all results in articles with surprising charm. Add a tough touch to the softness and you’ve got the full YAYA package. Our collections are sold worldwide at over 2700 selling points. You can find more than 25 YAYA concept stores in 5 countries. Our headquarters is based in a tiny village near Amsterdam, where we do what we love and love what we do.

Traveling around the globe, experiencing and collecting little treasures is what inspires us to create the collections. We pull inspiration from a wide variety of cities, landscapes, architectures, and natural environments. All of our prints and patterns are created in-house, also based on the inspiration for each collection. Once the prints for the collections have been chosen, the rest of the collection naturally comes together.

We try to make good fashion every day, by making sensible decisions about the impact we have on the environment and ensuring good working conditions in the factories where our products are made. We mainly produce in China, Turkey, India and Greece. YAYA respects the laws in all countries within we operate including our suppliers. We honor internal policies and ensure all business operations are legitimate. We make every partnership and collaboration open and transparent. YAYA promotes safety and fair dealing, anti-bribery and anti-corruption practices and believes in protecting human rights. We don’t use child labor. We visit our factories to check the working conditions. We don’t go for the cheapest prices. We pay fair prices. We do not work with any dangerous or polluting materials like chrome 6. We split our garbage and try to limit waste. We don’t use certifications (yet), since it doesn’t guarantee the perfect conditions. We give back and do voluntary work. There is always room for improvement and as we stated before we work on it every single day. We have consciously decided not to advertise or boast about how good, green or sustainable we are, since we at YAYA believe that this is part of being a normal human being.
