CAMBIO is an upscale collection of high-fashion ladies’ trousers from Germany that has become a globally-known brand. The product is synonymous for excellent fit, high-quality fabrics and sophisticated workmanship. CAMBIO pants come in a wide range of different shapes and waistlines to suit every single body type. Many of our designs are also enhanced by stylish and fashionable sequins and appliqués.

Timeline: 1985: The company CHANGE Sportswear is founded, starting with a high-quality collection of men's trousers. 1987: The product range is expanded to include a collection of trousers for women, named CAMBIO. 1989: The decision was made to further develop CAMBIO and to cease the men’s collection, CHANGE Sportswear. 1995: The brand has a big break through and begins to create a name for itself.

CAMBIO - environmental protection:

Selected production sites only within Europe and North Africa Short transport routes, transparent supply chain and lower CO2 emissions. No use of cotton from Uzbekistan, as it is harvested there under inhumane & socially unacceptable conditions, among others by school-children and forced laborers.  Use of newly developed production technologies.  Reduction of the consumption of water, energy and the use of harmful chemicals.  Ban on “sandblasting”.  Use of leather for labels or applications, which is a by-product from food production and comes from farm animals that have been kept in a species-appropriate manner.

When choosing both our suppliers and our production facilities, we are always paying attention to the compliance of all workplace standards. All our suppliers are complying with the current regulations for the textile sector, which include amongst others the observance of working hours and vacation time, legal age, salary guidelines and medical examination on a regular basis. The employees are furthermore subject to compulsory insurance. These legal provisions are examined and approved at regular intervals by the inspection for health and safety. The companies confirm this via certificates as e.g. of TÜV Rheinland Cert GmbH, the national social insurance body or the BSCI standards. In contrast to a lot of other suppliers, CAMBIO works according to the principle of “passive job processing”. The entire creation of the cuts as well as the development and adjustment of the details (buttons, zippers, decoration etc.) is carried out in our company headquarter in Germany. Also the fabric is purchased by our team in the Bavarian Forest and inspected carefully to ensure the quality is top notch. Thus, we can grant a transparent quality management of the different materials. Our production facilities – in other European countries as well as in Tunisia and Macedonia – are working mainly for CAMBIO for many years and are aware of the preconditioned high standard. Furthermore, the travelling technicians employed by CAMBIO ensure that the manufacturing quality and correct fit are up to par directly on-site. Thereby, it is possible for us to interfere during the manufacturing processes at a short notice in order to deliver the perfect product to you.
